Clinical & Nonprofit Leadership
How Keira paired clinical experience with community leadership — and earned her top-choice school.

Keira was drawn to pediatric health, and we helped her pursue it in two directions at once — clinical experience and community leadership.
Keira worked alongside Nurse Practitioner Melanie at Elevate Wellness, a respected pediatric psychology practice, where she saw firsthand how early intervention and compassionate advocacy can change the trajectory of a child's life.
Determined to make wellness visible in her community, Keira founded the Bloomfield Health & Wellness Club — and her service was recognized with a Youth Assistance award.
Carolina was Keira's top choice from the start — and as an out-of-state applicant, one of the hardest admissions to win. Her focused, two-sided record made the case, and she earned her place at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Keira's file told a coherent story: a student who understood pediatric health both inside a clinic and out in her community.
That kind of focused, two-sided commitment is exactly what we build toward — and it's what carried her, out of state, into the school she wanted most.
